Recognition for Committed Service in D-CAS ? Respected Principal, Captain Dr. Maqdoom Farooqui, congratulated and appreciated Dr. J. D. Shaikh, Director, UG D-CAS Centre (B.A./B.Sc.), M/A 2026, and the entire team of Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, have been appreciated for their sincere devotion, cooperation, commitment, and effective contribution towards the Central Assessment of Answer Sheets conducted by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Third Consolation – Anushree Mukesh Basaiye – B.Sc Ist year Deogiri College Topic: Biofuel Production: Geopolitical Crisis and Fuel Shock The competition was judged by Prof. Syed Nisar Ahmad Sir Sayyad College of Arts, Commerce & Science, CSN, and Dr.Suchita Bharambe ,Assistant Professor in Microbiology, Government Institute of Science, CSN.Their valuable expertise and constructive evaluation added significant academic value to the event. The event was coordinated by Ms. Mahejabin Sayyad, HOD, Department of Microbiology , with the dedicated support of the Organising Team – Dr. Wajed Khan and Ms. Syeda Zuha Fatema , along with the enthusiastic student volunteers. The enthusiastic participation of students and the committed efforts of the volunteers made the competition a meaningful celebration of scientific creativity, teamwork and innovative thinking.

Orientation Programme on OJT Opportunities at MIDC- Skill Development Centre 23.9.2026 The Skill Development Cell (SDC) of the college, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Maqdoom Farooqui, organised an orientation programme on OJT opportunities at MIDC–Skill Development Centre, Shendra for final-year students. Mr. Vaibhav Darware, Centre Manager, MIDC-SDC, briefed students on various skilling opportunities offered under OJT, while Mr. Amir Khan highlighted the importance of communication skills for employability. The programme was presided over by Vice Principal Dr. Arif Pathan. Around 100 final-year students participated in the programme. Dr. Aparna Saraf , Convener, SDC delivered vote of thanks and the program was moderated by Dr. Anees Ahmed.

Under the patronage of Principal Capt. Dr. Maqdoom Farooqui, the Department of BCA/BCS organized a Corporate Ready Intern Program in collaboration with Tech Genius World under its MoU. The program included distribution of 104 OJT Certificates to students of Batch 2025-26 by the Principal and Chief Guest Mr. Shamshuddin Sayed, Founder, Tech Genius World, and the Induction Program for Batch 2026-27. Mr. Sayed was felicitated by the Principal for his contribution to industry-academia linkage, with 294 students present in the Seminar Hall. Dr. Maqdoom Farooqui appreciated the efforts of H.O.D. Dr. Syed Abeduddin and Team BCA/BCS for organizing the program with academic and corporate relevance. Technical support was provided by Mr. Aamer and Mr. Ansar, certificate distribution was coordinated by Mrs. Amera, Miss Naseema and Miss Tahera, discipline was managed by Mr. Irfan and Mr. Juned, and the program was moderated by Dr. Syed Abeduddin, Head- BCA-BCS.

Field Trip to SAI Sports Authority of India & NCOE Centre The Department of Physical Education, Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science and Commerce, organized an educational field trip for First Year CC - Health & Wellness and Physical Education students to the SAI (Sports Authority of India) and NCOE Centre. The field trip was conducted under the esteemed supervision and guidance of Capt. Dr. Maqdoom Farooqui, Principal, and Dr. Arif Pathan, Vice Principal. A total of 80+ students actively participated in the educational visit. The trip was meticulously planned and coordinated by the subject teacher, Dr. Azhar Babar Shaikh, with the assistance of Mr. Asif Patel, and accompanied by Dr. Aliya Tarannum and Mrs. Amera Quadri. The visit provided students with valuable exposure to sports facilities, training infrastructure, and various aspects of physical education and sports development, making it an informative and enriching learning experience.
