About of the Department:

• The Department of  Arabic was established in 1963.
• The department offers Undergraduate Course.
• The Head of the department is Dr. Quazi Naveed .
• Result of the Subject were quiet satisfactory every year.

Objectives :

• To impart theoretical and empirical understanding of the subject to its students.
• To help students pursue their higher education in Arabic.
• To promote Research endeavors of the faculty for better understanding of Arabic.

Scope of Arabic:

• Arabic subject is vast and multifaceted, encompassing various aspects of the Arabic languages, literature , culture and history.
• Student gets the job opportunities in the fields of Arabic, as a translator, tour guides, teaching and as NET of competitive exam and research bodies, all these professions need the knowledge of Arabic.

Future Plans:

• To establish optional subject.
• To start a course in Theology
• To start a course of Modern Arabic Language.
• A certificate course in recitation of Arabic and Quran.
