Objectives of the Department:

1. To increase understanding of global economic issues.

2. To clarify career options as an economist.

3. To conduct outreach programs to raise awareness about government schemes  for the people.

4. . To emphasize the importance of the subject through school initiatives and teach the students the importance of early savings

5. To create awareness on stock markets for better financial  health.

6. To facilitate group discussions for a shared understanding of topics unexplored and also of current interest.

7. To provide special coaching to prepare students for competitive examination.
