Salim Ali Club Conducted Bird Watching and Bird Identification ( Using Bird Acoustics) In Association with Environmental Research Foundation and Education Academy on 17 February 2025 at 8.00 to 9.00 AM at College Campus. Aims 1. Promote Bird Conservation: Raise awareness about the importance of bird conservation and individual roles in protecting bird populations. 2. Foster Environmental Awareness: Educate students about the interconnectedness of bird populations, habitats, and sustainable environmental practices.  Objectives 1. Identify Bird Species: Use bird acoustic techniques to identify and record bird species present in the college campus. 2. Develop Bird Watching Skills: Equip students with skills and knowledge to observe and identify birds using binoculars and birding apps. 3. Sarwade has inaugurated the seminar and guided extensively to the participants with his scholarly thoughts. Ms. Renu Prithiani, Zonal Director, ICCR, Regional Office in Mumbai was the chief guest for cultural programme. She elaborated on the ICCR sponsored scholarships including the fellowship programmesto the foreign students.Dr. Suchita Yambal, Director, FRC, Dr. B. A. Marathwada University explained the university guidelines for foreign students in detail whereas Ms. Swati Kedar, API, FRRO, Office of Commissioner of Police, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar focused the rules and regulations applicable to foreign students in her informative speech. On 30th January 2025, under the directives of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, and based on the letter from the Joint Director of Higher Education, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a Selfie Booth was set up at Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science, and Commerce. This initiative was undertaken as part of the Women Development Committee (WDC) of the college to spread awareness about women's safety and empowerment and schemes for women under Ministry of women and child development.   The event took place on 30th January 2025 at 11:30 AM in the college premises, in the presence of IQAC coordinator Dr. Aditi Bhattacharya,  Incharge of WDC Dr. Ummul Khair Asema and the committee members. Guest Lecture on Civil Services Examination Guidance by Mr. Ravindra Jogdand  Aurangabad, February 4, 2025: A highly informative guest lecture on Civil Services Examination Guidance was held today at Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Aurangabad, organized by the Department of Arts. The lecture featured Mr. Ravindra Shanta Bapurao Jogdand, the Deputy CEO of the Smart City Development Corporation, Aurangabad, and Deputy Commissioner for Solid Waste Management.  The event was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Mazhar Ahmed Farooqui, along with Dr. Arif Pathan, Vice Principal of the Senior College, and Shaikh Abbas, Vice Principal of the Junior College. The media analysis for the event was handled by Arpita Sharad Madam.  The program coordinators, Dr. Azhar Patel Sir, Dr. Azhar Zafar Sir,  Uzair Khan Sir,  Akbar sir, Asif patel sir  and Rais sir ensured the smooth execution of the event, which was well-attended by students aspiring to join the civil services. Mr. Jogdand shared his extensive experience in public service, providing invaluable guidance on exam preparation strategies, time management, and the importance of staying updated with current affairs.  The lecture concluded with a lively Q&A session, where Mr. Jogdand offered personalized advice to the students, motivating them to pursue their goals with dedication and persistence. ‘Where there is Money there is Commerce’ says Prof.Akbar Ali Khan, Former Vice Chancellor, Telangana University at Career Talk Series On 20th January 2025, the Dept. of Commerce and Mgt.Sci., organized an expert talk on ‘Future Skills in Commerce & Management’under the Career Talk Series.The session was graced by the esteemed resource person, Prof.Mohammed Akbar Ali Khan, former Vice Chancellor, Telangana University, who provided invaluable insights into the skills essential for Commerce graduates to succeed in today's competitive world.He stressed the importance of communication skills, dedication, and hard work for professional and personal success. He elaborated on the scope of commerce education, asserting that commerce plays a crucial role across all fields and industries. The event was further enriched by the presence of Principal Dr. Mazahar Ahmed Farooqui, who motivated the students with his inspiring words. The Guest of Honour Prof. Farah Naaz Gauri, Former Head, Dept. of Commerce, Dr. B.A.M University emphasized the importance of ethical behaviour and value system, without which, she noted, survival in society would be challenging. Fly high but never forget the Hands that raised you: District Collector Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), January 23, 2025 – Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science, and Commerce held its annual Degree Distribution Ceremony at the Seminar Hall, Dr. Rafiq Zakaria Campus. The event celebrated academic excellence, perseverance, and new beginnings for the graduates of the M/A-2023 batch. The Chief Guest of the program Hon'ble Deelip Swami, IAS, District Collector of Ch. Sambhajinagar, congratulated graduates and extended best wishes for future. While addressing to the graduates he had highlighted the competitive nature of exams like the UPSC and inspired students to aim big and aspire to create jobs rather than seeking of the jobs. He reminded the students that life henceforth shall be full of challenges but with a strong value system students can navigate through them successfully.
