Location: Near Masjid, near Bab ul ilm gate, No. of places.

Characters: Deciduous, handsome trees upto 15 m tall, branches spreading, leaves bipinnate, rachis groves glabrous, stipules pectinate with linear segments. Flowers in 6–12 flowered axillary 1-3 male racemes. Calyx green without, red within. Petals red, the upper with white blotches, clawed with crisped orbicular limbs. Stamens 10 filaments long red in the upper half. Pods woody, linear, 20– 60 x 4 – 6 cm, dark brown, seeds 10 – 50 oblong, dark brown.
 Planted in gardens also naturalised along road side, throughout the district.

General use: Ornamental plant, flowers seeds and gum is edible.

Medicinal use: Plant is used in rheumatism. Flowers used as anthelmintic.
