Characters: Leafless, parasitic twiner with fleshy branches forming dense yellow mass on host plants. Flowers pale white, solitary, clustered or in racemes. Capsules succulent.
 Very common on Clerodendrum inerume throughout the district.

Medicinal use: The plant is alterative purgative, astringent and anthelmintic. Its decoction made with aromatics is given in pretreated fevers, flatulence, induration of liver, bilious disorders and diarrhoea.

Veterinary use: Decoction of stem is used on poultry diseases. Whole plant is used for bone fracture, and lice removing.
